Moza SR-P Elastomer Brake MOD
This Brake MOD increases the realism and performance of the load cell on the Moza SR-P pedals. Allows various effects adjustments and completely improves the way you brake!
Thanks to our Brake MOD, the brake pedal will become similar to that of a real car: the greater the pressure on the pedal, to obtain more intense braking, the harder it will become.
- This effect helps you a lot during long racing sessions, when the leg loses much of its sensitivity and in the most difficult braking you are no longer able to dose the pedal well.
- You will avoid locking the wheels.
- You can reach the perfect trail braking ensuring optimal insertion of the front end of the car into the curves.
Brake Mod – Linear, Progressive and Trail
The graphic feedback shows how our MOD guarantees a wider range of use, recovers a large percentage of useful travel compared to the original configuration of the SR-P.
It is possible to use the brake pedal in 5 configurations, combining our elastomers and the inserts supplied by Moza:
- Linear (with 1 “LINEAR” elastomer). The linear mod replaces the lower elastomer. The linear mod is made to match perfectly with the original springs of the moza pedal having the opportunity to make a perfect dosage that is especially appreciated in rallying on low grip surfaces (Rally).
- Progressive (with 1 “PROGRESSIVE” elastomer). The progressive mod replaces the lower elastomer. The progressive mod is an excellent solution for GT3 and Formula cars. This mod perfectly matches the characteristics of the original springs but allows for more progressive braking, optimal for managing corner entry (Formula, GT3).
- Trail (with 1 “TRAIL” elastomer). The trail mod replaces the upper spring. This solution is the best compromise for improving trail braking in the initial moments of braking. By replacing the original spring with the trail elastomer, braking consistency increases from the very first moments and there is no longer an "on-off" effect that compromises trail braking. Using this mod eliminates the pop felt when the spring reaches full compression and begins to work the elastomer, making the behavior much more natural.
- Linear + Trail (with 1 “LINEAR” and 1 "TRAIL" elastomer). This is the perfect combination to blend the benefits of the two elastomers. It's the perfect combination for fans of formula and GT cars. This combination guarantees perfect brake modulation both in trail braking and bite. This way, you can finely manage the corner entry of any car.
- Progressive + Trail (with 1 “PROGRESSIVE” and 1 "TRAIL" elastomer). This is the perfect combination to blend the benefits of the two elastomers. It's the perfect combination for rally and GT car enthusiasts. In rallying, it's important to use a very linear brake to control the car on low-grip surfaces. On GT cars, perfect trail management is required when entering corners to avoid sudden slowdowns. Combining the performance of the trail elastomer and the linear hardening of the linear elastomer creates an excellent setup for both rally and GT cars.
