Throttle and Brake Pedal MOD [Thrustmaster T2PA] (PC, PS XBox)

This modification screws into the original spring of the pedal set, allowing for easy installation without the need for additional tools or adjustments to the device’s firmware. Once installed, the Brake MOD alters the behavior of the brake pedal to mimic that of a real car’s brake pedal.

Regardless of whether you’re braking lightly or applying heavy braking pressure, the original spring will always exert the same force on your foot. With the Brake MOD, however, the pedal’s resistance will increase proportionally to the pressure applied, resulting in a firmer feel and more realistic braking experience. This effect is particularly beneficial during long racing sessions when leg sensitivity may decrease, making it difficult to modulate the pedal’s pressure accurately.

By increasing resistance by up to 20kg, the Brake MOD helps prevent wheel lock-ups and allows for smoother and more precise braking maneuvers. Crafted from a special elastomer with shape memory, this modification ensures durability and consistent performance over time.

It’s important to note that some two-pedal sets may not include a coil spring in the brake pedal. Therefore, it’s advisable to check compatibility before purchasing the mod.

In addition to the Brake Pedal MOD, 3DRap also offers an additional MOD for both the accelerator and brake pedals. This secondary MOD increases the preload of the torsion springs, resulting in pedals that feel firmer and more realistic overall.
